Installation Guide

Get GuestGate running on your router in under 5 minutes.

Download the Package

Download the GuestGate .ipk package file to your computer.

Open your browser and log into your GL.iNet router's admin panel. If this is your first time, you'll be prompted to set an admin password.

In your GL.iNet admin panel, navigate to:

System → Advanced Settings

This opens LuCI, the OpenWrt configuration interface. You may need to set a separate password for LuCI if it's your first time.

In LuCI, navigate to:

System → Software

This is the package manager where you can install software on your router.

Click Upload Package, select the guestgate.ipk file you downloaded in Step 1, then click Install.

The package will install automatically. Once complete, GuestGate is running on your router.

Go back to your GL.iNet admin panel. Under Network, you'll see a new GuestGate section. Click Open Admin Panel to launch the GuestGate dashboard.

Your 30-day free trial starts automatically. To activate a full license, go to Settings → Registration and copy your hardware fingerprint.
